About

Hello, hello! First of all, I would like to welcome everyone to this new part of my life. For those who don’t know me, my name is Renata (he-NAh-tah. My name means reborn, how cool is that?! In Brazil, r has the sound of h in the english language (like in Hospital, or Hey, or Hi…), so have fun trying to say my name right haha 😉 ). I am a Brazilian girl in your 20s, currently living in Brazil but frequently coming to the United States.

I have a Blog called Não Tão Caro (Not So Expensive), which is written in Portuguese, and I try to show everyone that you don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars to stay beautiful and take care of yourself. I try to show that cheap products can be as awesome as expensive ones. So, in general, all products I show are cheap-but-awesome! I decided to create the english version of my Blog because I need to show to the world what I know about beauty on a budget and there’s no better way than to write it in English!

I won’t guarantee that all of the products shown in this blog will be really cheap, but I’ll try my best to prove to you that alternative tools and ingredients are as good as high-end beauty products. Do you know that a toothbrush can save you? Are you curious? I’ll show you in this blog!  I write my blogs with all my heart, beauty products are my passion and I hope I can give you all some tips on what I do and use!! Stay tuned, stay beautiful and let’s do this!

Don’t forget to like us on Facebook!

Take care!
